By booking a tour with Everest Base Camp Heli Tour (“we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Booking and Confirmation
- A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive a completed booking form and the required deposit.
- Confirmation will be sent via email upon receipt of the deposit.
- It is your responsibility to check the booking details and notify us of any errors immediately.
2. Payment Policy
- A minimum 30% deposit is required at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the tour or upon arrival, as agreed.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or through approved payment gateways.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- 30 days or more before tour: Full refund minus service fee
- 15–29 days before tour: 50% of the deposit refunded
- Less than 15 days: No refund
- No refunds are given for unused services, missed flights, or early departures.
4. Changes and Modifications
- Minor changes to your itinerary may be possible depending on availability.
- We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather, operational issues, or safety concerns.
5. Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.
- It should cover medical expenses, evacuation, cancellations, and other unexpected situations.
6. Health and Fitness Requirements
- Participants must be in excellent health and physically fit for high-altitude tours.
- Please disclose any medical conditions prior to booking.
7. Responsibility and Liability
- We act as an agent for transportation and accommodation providers and cannot be held liable for delays, losses, or accidents beyond our control.
- We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by third parties or natural disasters.
8. Weather and Force Majeure
- Flight and tour schedules are subject to weather conditions and operational constraints.
- We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to force majeure events (e.g., earthquakes, strikes, extreme weather).
9. Complaints
- If you have a complaint during the trip, please notify your guide or our team immediately so we can resolve the issue.
- Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days after the tour.
10. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
